Girl Scouts of America

This is a temporary exhibit featuring artifacts, photographs, and stories from the Girl Scouts of America, especially featuring Camp Matoaka which operated in Suffolk for decades. This exhibit is open now and runs through mid-April 2009.



A Girl Scout Uniform, scarf, and other items welcome visitors to the exhibit.

Photos, handbooks, and other items on display date to the early 20th century.

This is an original, carved wooden sign, a scout-made candlestick holder, and a photograph, all from Suffolk's Camp Matoaka.
